Corona Emergency Notification System

The City of Corona, along with Cassidian Communications (formerly PlantCML), has instituted an improved local notification system that will be able to send telephone notifications to residents and businesses within City of Corona. This system is an upgrade to the former Reverse911 (R911) system and will be used by emergency response personnel to notify those homes and businesses at risk with information on emergency events and/or actions (such as evacuation) by way of voice message, text or email. The system utilizes the area's 9-1-1 database, provided by the local telephone company, and thus is able to contact land-line telephones whether listed or unlisted. It is TTY/TDD capable.

Recognizing that some telecommunications systems may not always be reliable or functional in the event of emergencies, this system will bring another method of relaying important information to the citizens of Corona while they continue to monitor other public safety warning and information systems (such as television and radio) whenever possible.

Because the system uses the 9-1-1 database provided by the local telephone company, only land-line numbers are in the system. If you have a Voice over IP (VoIP) or cellular telephone and would like to be notified over that device, or if you would like to receive notification by email or text, you must register those telephone numbers and/or email addresses for use by the system. To register your VoIP, cellular telephone or email address, please enter the Self-Registration Portal at
https://cityofcorona.onthealert.com/ and provide the desired information. Each number and/or email provided will be added to the database. You will receive a confirming email message to the address entered below once you have successfully registered. Your information will be kept strictly confidential.

Please note that calls generated from this system are out-of-state and registers 615-843-6147 with a callerID of Corona EmergInfo.
